Committees

The Research and Development Committee works with R&D and other academic and pedagogical research areas. The mandate of the R&D Committee, the mandate of the R&D Centres and links to meeting minutes can be seen below.

NMH is the Environmental Lighthouse and works in several ways to reduce the school's climate footprint.

The PhD Committee (DRU) is responsible for admission, operation and development of the PhD programme (Music Education, Music Therapy and Performance Practice).

KUST is responsible for admission to and operation of the PhD Programme in Artistic Research. The Committee is an advisory body for projects carried out by artistic research fellows.

The student committee (SUT) represents the interests of students at the NMH. The committee is there to assist students when they need peer-to-peer help or advice.

A working group has been appointed to work on this, and funds have been allocated in the 2024 budget to remodel parts of the 3rd floor and to design the remodelling of the library on the 2nd floor.

The Appeals Committee processes complaints against individual decisions and, following the conclusion of the Board, other complaints on behalf of the students as per the Act relating to universities and university colleges, § 14-1.
