PhD candidates may apply through Erasmus+ for a student exchange stay abroad at one of the Norwegian Academy of Music’s (NMH) partner institutions in Europe. The duration of the stay must be between three and twelve months. Depending on where you travel, you will be eligible for a grant of €410–460 per month.

As a research fellow at NMH, you may apply for Erasmus support for a shorter training period at an approved institution of higher education in Europe. The duration of such a stay can be between two days and two months. The amount of support you will receive is determined after an individual assessment in each case.
A training period may consist of job shadowing, observation, workshops, courses, seminars or the like. Participation in larger conferences is not approved as a training period. Research fellows in full-time positions, whose progress is regarded as satisfactory, will be given priority.
