Thank you for the strategic kick-off

The rectorate examined the assembly's opinions on various issues via the Menti tool. The anonymous and informal surveys resulted in, among other things, the word cloud above.

The joint day on 4 January marked the beginning of the work to develop a new strategy for the Music University. It will replace "In Cooperation", which runs until 2025.

On the joint day, we shared perspectives and received exciting input through presentations, panel discussions, and menti. The main points from the discussions in the administration and subject departments will be addressed in future management meetings and at the board seminar on 7 March.

Reviewing the feedback

The rectorate is already reviewing and compiling the responses from the group work on the joint day, and it is already evident that there is a lot of good material for further use.

Open process

– We are planning an open and inclusive process, whereas many people as possible will discuss and create visions for what NMH is today and what it should be in ten years and beyond.

We are planning an open and inclusive process where many people will discuss and create visions for what NMH is today and in the future.

Inviting external participants

The rectorate also intends to invite external participants to open meetings at NMH throughout the spring, where they can share how they see NMH from their perspectives in the music and cultural field, from other educational institutions both domestically and internationally, and more.

Seminar in June

We will also organize a more extensive seminar with the board in June and invite several meeting places throughout the spring and a gathering for all employees in August.
