- The group will assess whether the organisation of R&D activities within the current three R&D centres is appropriate, and if necessary, propose alternative organisational structures.
- They will evaluate collaboration and the distribution of authority and responsibility in the R&D area, including the relationships between:
- Centre leaders and the R&D Committee/Vice-Rector for R&D
- Centre leaders and heads of academic departments
- Programme committees for doctoral education, centre leaders, and heads of academic sections
- The group will review and propose changes to mandates and guidelines in the R&D area, including:
- The mandate for the R&D Committee
- The overarching mandate for the R&D centres
- The guidelines for heads of academic departments
- If necessary, they may propose new mandates and/or guidelines.
Working Group on R&D Organisation
A working group tasked with assessing the organisation of R&D activities began its work in May. The results of their efforts are expected during the autumn.
