National Knowledge Archive (NVA) now in use at NMH

The National Knowledge Archive (NVA) is now available to all staff at the Norwegian Academy of Music (NMH) and replaces the previous systems, Brage and Cristin.

These older systems have now been closed, and a significant portion of the content from Brage and Cristin has already been migrated to the new archive.

NVA enables the registration of a broader range of outputs, including artistic productions and pedagogical development work in music. This enhances NMH’s visibility and accessibility within the knowledge community and to the general public, while ensuring that materials are stored in a shared national solution.

Training sessions for staff will be organised throughout 2026, and the long-term goal is for all research and development (R&D) results to be registered in NVA.
