Important information about the use of the concert halls and and the Auditorium

The large halls at NMH are spaces used for a wide variety of activities. The following rules are meant to ensure efficient use of the time available in the hall.

Resetting

The halls must be tidied and "reset" after all activities.

Resetting means that all equipment needs to be put back in place, and the room is left neat and tidy, ready for the next activity.

Please remember to turn off all lights. The concert halls have lamps that generate heat, which is not good for pianos and other instruments. Consider the environmental aspect as well; the lamps consume a lot of power. Each hour they are on, reduces the lifespan of the bulbs.

If the AV system has been used, make sure to press “Avslutt” (“end”) on one of the touch panels before leaving the hall.

Fixed Seating Arrangement in the Levin Hall

In the Levin Hall, the audience chairs have a fixed placement. The audience chairs should not be moved unless there is a specific need for this in connection with teaching. If chairs are moved, they must be returned to their marked positions after the activity. Any additional chairs that have been set out must be put back in place. If chairs are needed on the stage, chairs from the stage storage should be used.

Contact

Do you have other practical or technical needs related to activities in the halls? Please get in touch, and we will see how we can assist you. We hope this ensures that everyone will find a tidy hall with the necessary equipment available for a good learning environment.
