Apply for concerts autumn 2026

NMH is planning our concerts in two main seasons, spring and autumn. The form for the spring semester is now open.

Important information

• New collab: This year, we have a new collaboration with Holmlia kulturhavn, an exciting culture house in the south of Oslo, promoting arts, culture and diversity. This venue suits both acoustic and amplified concerts.
• You don't need to add a detailed programme when you apply for a concert, but write as clearly as possible.
• Booking will be confirmed after a personal follow-up, even if the registration is approved automatically.

Each season has a primary deadline. These are the main deadlines for submitting a concert request in the official program of the Academy. Requests made after the given deadline are regarded as the second priority. After the primary season is planned, possibly available venues may be booked continuously throughout that semester.

1. Concerts directly related to studies and or research activities will be prioritised.
2. Concerts with a clear profile and idea, shows with crossover profile, collaborations and projects with gender and cultural diversity focus will also be prioritised.
3. Registrations after the deadline on 5 May are put on a standby list.

Marketing and the printed concert folder

• When the concert is booked, you need to send all information and photos to konsertinfo@nmh.no for marketing purposes.
• Not all concerts will be included in the printet concert folder – thoroughly thought-out projects will be prioritised.
• Even if you are included in NMH's programme, your own marketing is the most important part of the job, and NMH expects you to take the main resposibility for this.

Have you already booked or scheduled a concert?

If you already have booked time and/or place for your concert, we'd still like you to submit in the form. It's important that you write in the comments that the concert already is booked or scheduled. More photos and detailed info should be sent to konsertinfo@nmh.no.

Tips for planning

• Work with your co-students, collaborate on a joint concert, etc. This attracts a larger audience, and the workload is diminished.
• Consider if your concert suggestion fits into any of NMH's ongoing activities, and in that case, include it in your submission. Examples may be Serendip, Ljøsblått, The Chamber Music Week or other repeated events.
• NMH production has a list of collaborators and venues. We have a large range of potential stages, including nursing homes, kindergartens, malls, schools and more. Be creative when planning your concert – maybe a different arena could be interesting?
• If the purpose of the concert is only to perform on stage, with no emphasis on dissimination and audience – don't submit your concert, but read more about internal concerts on this site.
