Classical performance and interpretation is a priority research area in NMH’s call for PhD positions in Artistic Research 2025. One position is reserved for this research area.
The workshop will take place in room 139 at NMH, Slemdalsveien 11, on January 8th, 2025, from 17:00 to 20:00 CET. It is also possible to attend digitally via Zoom. The link will be provided upon registration for the workshop.
To register for the workshop, please fill out the form before January 2nd, 2025, at 23:59 CET. Upload a draft of your project description. The draft will only be read by the workshop holders. Its format can range from bullet points to a short draft text. Please also formulate one or more questions you would like to explore during your PhD.
The workshop will be led by Gro Marie Svidal and Hild Borchgrevink.
Gro Marie Svidal is a research fellow representative on the Committee for the PhD Program in Artistic Research (KUST) and is well-acquainted with the program. Among other things, she has experience with admissions and appointments to the PhD program in Artistic Research at NMH.
Hild Borchgrevink is a research fellow at NMH. She teaches annual workshops in project development and application writing at the Grieg Academy and for performers at Panta Rei Danseteater. She has also led a writing workshop for PhD fellows in Artistic Research at NMH.
