Disputation Hanne Rinholm

Field of Study: Music Education

Hanne Rinholm defends her dissertation, which is titled Estetisk uro og kunstens gull. En drøfting av eksistensiell musikalsk erfaring.

The doctoral defence starts at noon in the Auditorium. The first trial lecture will be carried out the previous day at 2:15 pm. The second trial lecture will be carried outthe the same morning at 10:15 am.

The trial lectures and the defence will be held in Norwegian/Scandinavian languages.

The Assessment Committee

The Committee comprises the following members:

• Professor Jon Helge Sætre, the Norwegian Academy of Music (Committee Chair)
• Professor Gro Trondalen, the Norwegian Academy of Music (1st opponent)
• Assistenzprofessorin Cecilia Björk, mdw - Universitãt für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien (2nd opponent)

Streaming

If you are unable to attend the Norwegian Academy of Music in person, you can follow the trial lecture and the public defence via live stream. The stream will not be recorded. The streaming link will be published on the Norwegian site two weeks before the arrangements.

We encourage everyone to attend in person, as in most cases a live stream will not be considered a satisfactory alternative to being present in the Levin Hall. In addition, this is a relatively simple video production, which may result in limitations in terms of sound and image quality.

The dissertation consists of five articles and an introductory chapter. It will be available online (nva.sikt.no) no later than two weeks before the public defence.

Four of the articles and the precis are written in Norwegian. One article is written in English. Rinholm is the sole author of three of the articles and the first author of all of them.

Hanne Rinholm is a Professor (Norw: "Dosent") at the Faculty of Education and International studies at OsloMet. She holds a master degree in Music Education from the Norwegian Academy of Music (le (2010).
